As a family-owned B Corp ourselves, we had the privilege of guiding Busatti through a structured journey built on shared values, ongoing dialogue, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by family businesses. Our ESG+S department conducted an initial analysis using the B Impact Assessment (BIA), identifying areas for improvement and developing a tailored plan across five strategic pillars: governance, workers, community, environment, and customers.
In just one year of working together, Busatti implemented new sustainable policies and systems that allowed it to comfortably exceed the minimum threshold for B Corp certification. This result demonstrates how tradition and innovation can come together to drive sustainable, lasting change.
With this significant recognition, Busatti reaffirms the central role of family businesses in driving positive change, remaining true to their historical roots while looking toward an increasingly sustainable future.
